Juneteenth Parade & Festival

101.7 The Truth will be at the Northcott Neighborhood House 51st Juneteenth & Parade Festival on Sunday, June 19th from 9am to 4pm! 

The parade will be live or streamed from TMJ4 as they partner with the Juneteenth celebration. The parade will start at 9 a.m. from 14th and Atkinson and will travel to West Locust and North Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and Locust Street. Juneteenth Parade will run from 9:00am to  11:00am.​

Juneteenth opening ceremonies, signaling the start of the festival, will kick off at 11:00 am with festivities running on the corner of King Drive and Locust Street. All of the street festivities start at 9am with plenty of vendors selling food, novelties and t-shirts. There will be music, poetry and dancing in the streets until 4 p.m. Getting back to Milwaukee’s Juneteenth roots, with an old school throwback concert in the Bernice & Clinton Rose Park. Northcott Neighborhood House kicks off the Celebrate Culture…Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow Jazz & Blues Summer Concerts.​
