ESPN Cleveland and Lifebanc are connecting the power of sports with the gift of life. We’re awarding one lucky fan each week during October and November with a team jersey. The EIGHT winners represent the EIGHT lives saved by the kindness of a single organ donor.
Sports fans know what it feels like to be part of something bigger than themself: a season, a community, a crowd. Carry that team mentality off the field and register as an organ and tissue donor. It only takes a minute, but the act can save up to 8 lives and heal over 100 more.
Follow The Lifebanc Playbook:
1. Review the Film: Visit lifebanc.org to read about the life saving option to become a donor. Get your questions answered, and learn the “why” behind the play.
2. Get in the Game: Think of the BMV as the league office- the official keeper of the stats. You can pledge your love anywhere, but only the BMV can record it in the rulebook so it counts on game day. Complete this form on the Ohio BMV site to officially get in the game.
3. Rep Your Team: Talk to your family and friends about your life-saving decision to be an organ, eye and tissue donor.
