Djuka is the epitome of GKB. She works hard as she is often the first person at the office and last teammate to leave most days as so many of us rely on her. She overdelivers as she is never one to shy away from volunteering to work an event or travel to another market to make sure every partner, fan and teammate are taken care of with anything they may need. If a teammate has a problem she will always give them honest advice while listening intently. Whether it is being our coordinator for GKB week or organizing Pickleball tournaments for teammates she is consistently trying to find ways to connect teammates to not only grow our culture but promote teamwork.
These are just a few of the many reasons why I admire Djuka and am proud to not only call her a teammate but also a friend. I love having my desk near hers as she is a constant reminder to myself that I need to find ways to raise the bar for all partners, fans and teammates on a daily basis.
