This week’s Land Rover Palm Beach Player of the Week is Seminole Ridge Lady Hawk, India Shepherd! Shepherd became the first girl from Seminole Ridge to be offered a scholarship for basketball and will attend Nova South Eastern University in the Fall! India was the only senior out of 6 girls on the varsity team and helped her final year lead the school to their first District Title this year. She averaged 16 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists, and 5 steals a game. We caught up with India and learned how she manages academics and basketball, her favorite part of the game, and advice to younger athletes who will also go through the recruiting process.
