Performance of the Week/ Performance of the Year
Throughout the school year, ESPN West Palm teams up with Baptist Health Orthopedic Care to recognize outstanding athletic performances by teams across Palm Beach County & The Treasure Coast!
This is our second year teaming up with Baptist Health to recognize the athletic accomplishments of our local teams. This could be for a killer play on the field/court or maybe even winning some hardware (trophies, medals, etc.). Every week during the school year, we feature the winning performance on ESPN 106.3 FM, ESPN West Palm social media accounts, and WPTV’s Sunday evening sports newscast. The winning performance also receives a $500 donation, courtesy of Baptist Health! This donation goes directly to the team being recognized and can be used however the team determines – to celebrate the season, buy new equipment, cover travel expenses, etc.
If your team was selected as the Baptist Health Orthopedic Care Performance of the Week, you now have the chance to be selected for the Performance of the Year and win up to an additional $15,000 for your program – courtesy of ESPN West Palm, Baptist Health, and the RoofClaim.com Boca Raton Bowl!
Here’s how it works:
At the end of every month, we’ll post a social media poll on Twitter (@ESPNTop63) & Instagram (@ESPNWestPalm) for fans to vote for their favorite performance of the week. Based on the social media votes and the ESPN West Palm selection committee, will determine that month’s finalist. The teams selected as finalists will receive tickets to the RoofClaim.com Boca Raton Bowl where team representatives will be honored on the field and the Performance of the Year will be announced. Team representative must be present at RoofClaim.com Boca Raton Bowl to claim prize!
