We are currently searching for our next Retail Sales Consultant for our Madison retail location. Only candidates with a desire for a long-term career and a commitment to sustained growth in a team environment should consider this opportunity.


The Role of Retail Sales Consultant: 

Provide the best experience for our customers, including offering product knowledge, design consultation/solutions, generating sales while maintaining operational standards.


Daily Tasks of a Retail Sales Consultant:

  • Be a Good Karma Brands ambassador by adhering to the GKB core values: Listen, Be Honest, Follow Through, Work Hard and Over Deliver
  • Ensure individual sales goals are met or exceeded
  • Continually build new clientele while maintaining existing client relationships
  • Provide excellent customer service by following up with clients on new merchandise as well as offering In-Home Consultations
  • Basic space planning and product sketching
  • Demonstrates technical selling skills and product knowledge in all departments.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers and management
  • Assist in floor moves, merchandising, processing shipment and general housekeeping
  • Complete operational and administrative tasks daily


Preferred knowledge, skills and qualifications:

  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Basic space planning and product sketching
  • Previous retail or customer service experience
  • Ability to speak effectively with customers
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Ability to appropriately collaborate with peers and customers
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedule in order to meet the needs of the business, including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Friendly, optimistic and upbeat personality
